Has anyone had any trouble with this set? On disc 3 of my set during the episode Awakenings, some scenes are out of sync with the dialogue and will stop mid scene. Just wondering if it was one defective disc or if anyone else had seen the same thing.

I just watched that exact disk today and had no problems. The only problem I've had so far was on disk 2. When I played "Spin the Bottle" with the commentary, then went to play "Apocalypse, Nowish", the commentary also played for "Apocalypse, Nowish" even though I hadn't selected it. I had to re-load the disk to get it to play without the commentary. Not a big deal, just annoying.

I haven't had any problems at all with any of the disks, I'm happy to say.

My season 4 set has been working fine (got it off of amazon.com for what it matters).
May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I just finished watching the rest of the set this morning and had no problems other than the really minor one I mentioned before.
The bonus is that I now understand season 4. It had me all mixed up when I first saw it on tv. However, watching the whole season all the way through in just a few days on dvd makes it much clearer how everything fits together. Everything from why Jasmine had The Beast precede her in L.A. to why the dead bodies at W&H turned into zombies is explained within the dvds. It requires a lot of paying attention to small, insignificant comments and details, but is well worth the effort.

If yer gonna put spoilers up, it's just plain ol' nice to warn everybody...

Sorry, what spoilers? I just said that stuff is explained within the dvds. It's up to you to watch the dvds and find the explanations - I didn't give away any secrets.

What Phoneixship means is that many people haven't seen Season 4 all the way through yet, or are just now discovering Joss Whedon's other shows in addition to Firefly. It's new to them, as is any information posted here on the boards that tell of plot points.

I really didn't think of the two items I mentioned as spoilers seeing how they've already been discussed at considerable length in other Angelus Arcanum threads without spoiler warnings - pretty much thought of them as common knowledge.
