Hump Day. To those with Norse blood it is the All Father's Day, Odin's Day! Regardless of what you call it we are at the half way mark for the week.
The snow that all of the folks were making so much fuss about that was supposed to come today was nothing more than a pitiful flurry that lasted approximately 10 minutes, vanished, and was replaced by sunlight. Warmer weather on the way this weekend and the bike should be back from the shop today where it is getting inspected.
Mags! Good to see you on here love! You should try not to be a stranger. As a matter of fact, I'll go so far as to make that an order. ;)

THOR'S DAY!! I got an email from 'Things from Another World'…that my copy of 'Leaves' #2 is on it's way! We have no comic book stores here in the Tennessee hinterlands…I can't wait!!

Thor's Day! And a cold, windy one at that.
Bike is ready so it will be a cold ride home tonight, but that won't wipe the silly grin off of my face. :)
Got my copy of Leaves # 2 on the way home from work last night, along with Walking Dead #122, the only other comic I read anymore. At $3-$4 a piece it is just a tad too expensive a hobby for me now. Haven't read either of them yet. Waiting for the quiet weekend, where it is supposed to rain most of the day Saturday, to settle in with them.

Not so much here. Yesterday started with sleet on the way into work, which became snow around 9am that went on until 4pm. We got about 4-5 inches of snow on top of about an inch of ice. Not a pretty ride home last night. Sunny today, but only right around freezing. The sun is helping with the melting of the packed ice on the roads. No real slow down or negative side effects for me.
That being said I am SOOOOO ready for Spring. Day Light Savings coming up this Sunday will help by making the days longer. Not much longer now!
