“After 15 years in the top committee I had to leave as Greenpeace took a sharp turn to the political left, and began to adopt policies that I could not accept from my scientific perspective,” he said. “Climate change was not an issue when I abandoned Greenpeace, but it certainly is now.”

I can't over look the fact that this guy isn't some right wing TEA party type, but an actual founding member of Greenpeace, saying pretty much exactly what I've been saying, for how many years now ?

1970's ... "Global Cooling" they say! Time Magazine cover story about an imminent Ice Age.

1990's ... "Global Warming" they say! But avg. temps. show slight cooling over 17 year period.

2000's ... "Climate Change" they say! And human beings are causing it! No unbiased scientific evidence, but plenty of alarmists with agendas taking the money.

2020's ... "Shitty Air Foo Yung" they say! The horrendous pollution from China covers the entire Earth with a death cloud.

2040's ... "Earth That Was" they say! We find a new solar system with hundreds of planets and moons ready for terraforming. Humanity is saved!

Actually, the quote came from former Greenpeace co-founder, Patrick Moore. That FOX reported it does not, in any way what so ever, dismiss the significance or the source of the quote.

Childish ad hominems directed to those who say things which are true, yet not what you want to hear, speaks volumes.

Moore isn't a climate scientist. But even a broken clock is right twice, so rather than an appeal to authority, his claims should be evaluated on their merit. What is his evidence? What is his logic?
