So if you are one of those who likes to have a physical copy of your shows.
1) Are you or have you bought it on Blu-Ray or DVD?
2) Are you or have you bought it by the season or are you waiting for the boxed set... provided there is one?

Since you put this in the Castle forum I'm not sure if that is the only show you are concerned about here. The only reason I still watch it is because of Nathan. Otherwise, no. I have bought seasons and full series on DVD and blu-ray, but I wouldn't bother with Castle.
Depending on when I got into particular shows determined whether I got individual seasons or complete sets.
Here are the complete series I have:
DVD - The Addams Family, Babylon 5, Firefly, Freaks & Geeks, Gilmore Girls, Joan of Arcadia, Mary Hartman Mary Hartman, The Middleman, Northern Exposure, The Outer Limits (original), Ray Bradbury Theater, Rumpole of the Bailey, The Twilight Zone ('80s revival), Veronica Mars, The Wire, Wonderfalls.
Blu-Ray - Chuck, Firefly, Fringe, The Prisoner, Pushing Daisies, Star Trek (TOS), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I have owned others previously, including Buffy and Angel, but those are available streaming on multiple platforms these days, so I sold them on ebay a year or so ago.

I should have mentioned that if I'm interested in something now, I would likely buy season sets since a complete set might not ever be released, and depending on how long a series last, by the time it's over individual sets might not still be available.
