Of course I understand the objections of gays and lesbians, Hispanics and women, non x-tians and agnostics to the republican party. The thing I wonder about is not why they left, but how could they stay so long in a party that repudiates their existence. But there are those who left - and slammed the door loudly as they went - that I honestly didn't think existed at this point. Conservative, white, straight, x-tian males of means ... who are honorable.
