I think George Carlin said it best:
"God help him, I wouldn't f**k her with a stolen dick."

Always a beast, never a burden.

Does that mean I'm claiming Louisiana..? Well, okay, I am, but only because its 70 degrees outside.

It's not Louisiana's fault that Britney could be certified retarded. I am pretty sure that she & her twin Jessica Simpson were seperated at birth.

I bet Britney can't even spell "Serenity".

"May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one."

Oh, you can blame Louisiana for a whole mess of things! Just try it!

Suppose you could drag Mississipi into it. That's where she grew up. They made her the...person she is today.

Lissa, Britney was big when I was in the 7th grade, too! Geez, that and Titanic. Oh, I'm going back. Hee! Reminiscing at 19.

Better than writing your autobiography as did one pop singer.
Okay, that's enough of my life thinking about this.

Okay. I'm going to drift off into fantasy on this post .

Whether or not B Spears SHOULD be successful, the fact of the matter is that she IS successful. So can we use that to our advantage? How cool would it be if she pimped Firefly to the millions of people who buy her albums and go to her concerts? She's already made an excellent choice in the naming of her house. It's too bad none of us are her neighbors who could drop by with a housewarming gift, "Welcome to the neighborhood. Love what you named your house. You know, there's another abode named Serenity that you might enjoy learning more about. ..."

Okay, so it's a pipe dream. Maybe I just fell. I just fell is all.

There are three kinds of people: fighters, lovers, and screamers.

If you are going to dream Soupcatcher, dream BIG my friend.

Can you imagine what it would do for the popularity of the DVD set & the BDM if someone could get Britney to post a blurb on her website about the DVD set and upcoming release of the BDM? It would be more than worth the effort to try to get an email or letter through to her congratulating her on the naming of her house/mansion/big ruttin' estate and ask her if she is familiar w/ our Serenity.

How ruttin' shiny would it be to have her drop a word or two about Firefly to her millions of fans? Think of how that would boost DVD sells, and sell tix at the box office just because their pop goddess mentioned the show.

I would buy every gorram CD she has ever made if she did something like that for us.

* The Real Me walks in, puts down his soapbox, and steps up onto it. *

I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

Britney Spears is an attractive young woman, and a successful young woman.

Some say that she is very talented. For myself, I love one of her songs, like another, and could pretty much do without the rest, but...

That is an OPINION.

Also, it seems, Britney Spears is a sexually active young woman. Some seem to think she is TOO active.

That is also an OPINION.

As long as she sticks to consenting adults, and stays within her own species, I don't see why her sex life is the business of anyone but Britney and her partner(s).

Has she made mistakes concerning her love life? Maybe. I have myself concerning mine. Who hasn't?

As to her alledged stupidity? Well, I can't talk about that. But if it is true that I am vastly smarter than she is, it is also true that she is vastly richer than I am!

Thank you!

* The Real Me steps down off his soap box, picks it up, and carries it off under one arm. *

Nightmare image spawned by Soupy's last post: Brit doing a dance-club version of "Ballad of Serenity."

And now to kill those braincells with alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol.

Woohoo! The dream is spreading!

It could easily bring in a few million dollars for the BDM if Britney, or someone with an equivalent fan base, came out and endorsed Firefly. And I would support their work just like they supported the BDHs work. It's all about the box office!

On a side note, I've added Margaret Weis to my shopping list of sci-fi/fantasy authors after reading that she is a fan.

Oh, and Gojiro, I feel your pain. On the other hand, a techno dance remix or a heavy metal version of the Hero of Canton, now those might work.

There are three kinds of people: fighters, lovers, and screamers.
