If I were you I would give some serious thought about his name. My first is Randolph, and from that it is an easy jump to Rudolph. But kids are inventive little buggers so just about any name you give him will get him some trouble unless its John. On the other hand most people remember my name fairly easily because it's not a very common one. Choose wisely.

Congratulations on the little one. I've got 3 myself (2 boys, 1 girl) and love being a mom.
As for names? just pick what you like. I did, and then had someone ask what my fascination with saint names? (Christopher, Marie, Nicklaus). Didn't do it on purpose, just happened that way.
As for getting picked on in school, try growing up with the last name of Cooch. (Not kidding, that was my maiden name) Talk about really NOT funny.......
