FMF! I didn't know you were still around here. Have you been, or are you just poking your head in for a minute?

I probably posted my reason way back, but I'm not going to look for it. I chose my username in 2005, when I wanted anydamnedone to be president rather than the one we had. Oh, those were dark times!

Oh my gosh, FMF! It is great to see you here. I can't believe I missed this thread back in the day. What a time capsule it is. It makes me all misty-eyed.

Karel was the name of a D&D character I played decades ago. When I finally joined fff.net after lurking for about a year and a half, I needed to come up with something, and Karel popped into my head.

JustShiny and I are still in touch and she still calls me Karel. I really like that.

I'm still in touch with many from fff.net. At the same time, so many have since flown into the black. I so do wish them well.
