The name "Wendy Davis " does not appear in the reported tweet. But we're SURE he meant her , right ?

Right.

Given that he used the singular "terrorist", and she was the only one in the Senate filibustering, which other one person do you think he meant?

Or do you think he's just a fucking idiot like so many right-wingers, and isn't capable of pluralizing words that end in "ist"?

When you close 80% of the clinics in the largest state in the lower 48, *when* doesn't enter into the equation as much as *IF* does.

Of course, you realize that abortion at 5 months isn't the law in Texas, but you're such a fucking disingenuous douchebag that you'll feign ignorance.

Oh. You mean you really ARE that stupid?

My bad.

Yeah. I mean 20 weeks is probably pushing it, but I CAN think of some extenuating circumstances that might cause such a delay. Like if the girl's family or father of the baby disapproves and/or is abusive or theirs some criminal aspect involved in this, or the girl doesn't have access to a car.

Still, it's kind of a strange upper boundary if you think about it. It's just one of those bills where yeah, I can get why people don't want it, but some of the parts of the bill aren't all terrible. Maybe. Probably Not? Bleh, politics.

I'm sure there's a Planned Parenthood clinic somewhere in Texas that would be happy to abort you Gosnell-style right now. And you're such a fucking disingenuous douchebag they'd probably do it for free.

Wrong on both counts. Planned Parenthood doesn't do abortions 2600 weeks post-birth, and they also don't generally do them for free.

Keep trying, though. You hardly look desperate at all.

Does oppose mean " filibuster "?

Did he mean just 1 terrorist, or maybe he omitted an "a" in error.

If he DID mean terrorists, & never said her name, how do we know it was her at all?

We dont.

Think maybe he was referring to Lt. Governor David Dewhurt's draconian efforts to subvert and do an end-run around the democratic process and the parliamentary procedures? Maybe he meant the President of the Senate was the terrorist?

He might just be right in that case.

Shouldn't take you too long to see the origin point, unless you want to continue to play the part of whatever you're playing.

ps. Here's a hint ....the name rhymes with sicko.

"I mean 20 weeks is probably pushing it, but I CAN think of some extenuating circumstances that might cause such a delay."

The very earliest amniocentesis can be performed is at 15 weeks, though most doctors prefer to wait till 18 weeks - there's more fluid available for testing so it's an easier, safer procedure. Then the analysis has to be done in a lab, and if there's significant genetic abnormality, the abortion scheduled. I can easily see the whole timetable extending well past 20 weeks.

I'm curious if that's what you were thinking of.
