Rain into torrential rains in North Carolina Friday when traveling. Rained pretty hard here yesterday and last night, but sunny and humid now. Should have a couple of days I can ride prior to the storms moving in Thursday.

Hey, Browncoat1...we got at least four inches of rain in about 30 minutes...made for a mucky day! Hot and humid here as well. Stay hydrated!

Hot and humid the last couple of days. Supposed to hit 95 today and we are bracing for this storm the news and weather folks have been hyping like Chicken Little for the last 48 hours. Hopefully it will blow over.
Glad to hear the AC is working Sister. Here's to hoping you stay cool all summer long.

I'm hoping the storms skipped you, Browncoat1; we had a 25 second downpour that did little but add to the humid factor. At least it's better today...and it's a FRIDAY! Hoping to see 'Man of Steel' this weekend.

Storm hit hard, but not as bad as some so called "experts" were calling for. We did get pretty high winds, gusting up to 50 mph, some heavy rain for about 45 minutes, then it just faded to light showers for another couple of hours. It did drive up the humidity, but it broke the heat as we are only supposed to get up to low 80s today.
