How dare a marine show respect to the president. Why he should have taken a swing at his head and screamed 'that's for providing free health care, you moron'.

Geez, do Americans worship their military?

And double geez, is this the most pressing thing to worry about in the world.

Isn't the President Commander in Chief of the Military? If he wants a freaking banana stuck in his ear, shouldn't that be his perogative?

It was just ever so predictable, and of course sad. The right will pounce on any indication, even a non-indication, that Obama doesn't like the military. Yet when it comes to the people in that very same military coming home and needing the help and support of the American people and the government, where are they? It's left up to the rest of us to help; they happily cut funding and ignore the V.A., because of course once the cannon fodder comes home, they don't give a damn about them. They're only good to send to war and use as political pawns.

I take issue with you there. That marine full dress doesn't look that bad.

Dunno what the Aussie army wears for full dress, but some of that stuff the Brits wear is pretty goofy: kilts? Bearskin hats 3 feet tall?

You've said it more than twice.

Why do you diss the Corps?
