So, I can't draw to save my life. But I have got a program called Comic Life. And so, inspired by Special Branch - the story thread which itself was inspired by the Firefly/Serenity universe (and spun off from the Sereni-Tree threads) - I created this short story.
It was originally going to be a handful of pages... and then it kind of got away from me.
If you've ever been intrigued by the Special Branch threads, or even just fancy checking out an extended universe tale, check it out, and let me know what you think.
The story revolves around a man named Needy, a former companion who has developed the uncanny ability to heal rapidly. But is it a gift from science or a higher power?

Wow. These may be just photographs and screenshots, but the style and filters over all of them are well done. Good layout, too, good writing, feels like a comic book.

Interesting software.
