okay, this is why i like these kinds of shows:

in season 4, the episode named "shiny happy people", i was absolutely laughing my butt off when lorne starts the "open mic" night at the hotel! too funny. the little boy saying why he likes jasmine, the woman who starts crying, angel and connor singing barry manilow's "mandy" while subsituting jasmine's name. HI-larious, as jayne would say. in my own words, bwahahahahahaha! also, when fred is freaked out about not being able to find jasmine to give her the shirt and then she sees what jasmine really is and starts crying. wesley, gunn and connor come in and wesley says "no need to worry, she's right there." while he smiles and completely overacts the part. ABSOLUTELY DROP DOWN AND ROLL ON THE GROUND FUNNY! THIS is why wesley is my favorite character.

anyway, just wanted to share with the other people who are enjoying season 4 with me on TNT.

what do you mean? is this like when someone (maybe it was you) said that the season should have ended a couple of episodes earlier (with the episode titled orpheus)?

I love season 4. You should pick up the season 4 DVD set. It is really good, and you know that they cut scenes including lines from the eps that are shown in syndication.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

No I'm the opposite - SHP is where S4 begins to get better, because previously it was cack. IMO of course ;)
