Dodgeball is a comedy classic with outstanding acting performances and terrific writing. The odds of a sequel being as good or better are slim.

How about they play it as a reverse with success having turned Vaughn's character into a jerk and Stiller trying to fight his way back up. Then they could have Stiller run into Lance Armstrong at a bar who can give him some advice like "Drugs - take lots of drugs" or "It's not cheating if you think all other people are as morally bankrupt as you."

I like it.

Though I also think the movie will never live up to the writing of the first one. The quips and the timing were just too good. They caught lightning in a bottle with the first movie and it's unlikely they can capture it again.
