USA Today is possibly seeking a fact checker who can comprehend the English language to work with its Entertainment columnist.
It seems the current fact checker/columnist doesn't know the difference between the word "hiatus" and "cancelled."
In a recent USA today article, Firefly was listed as one of the series being cancelled this season despite news from other major media sources that Firefly will go on hiatus in January and possibly reappear on a different night more conducive to building its targeted audience.

Well, that would be great if only the quote weren't absolutely true.

Tim Minear's site says the show IS cancelled.
