Yeah, or maybe more than that.

Every episode of firefly is better than most of the movies I see for my profession, and that makes it special.

This is one movie that MUST NOT BE STOLEN OR DOWNLOADED AT ALL!!!

before or after it's release... if anybody starts downloading the movie it'll lower ticket sales and hurt the chances of the SEQUELS!!

I go to the theater about once every 2 or 3 years because I hate screaming wall climbers, cell phones, and teens that think they are funny to everyone making stupid comments during the film.
BUT
I WILL be going to Serenity on April 22 even if I have to take the day off ( prob have to ). Why? Because Joss did not give up, and my few cents worth he got off me buying the DVD and a few more from others I bugged into getting it, gave him that bit more to keep going combined with all the others screaming at the top of their lungs for more Firefly. So he and the Cast that came back together deserve my full support and will get it by my ticket ( and my purchase of the DVD when it comes out with hopes that it has the full out takes of Firefly and FULL out takes from the movie )

The Journey is the worthier part.

Actually George Lucas went through hell getting Star Wars made and it almost didn't get made, the studios didn't want it, nobody took it seriously, the critics slammed it without ever seeing it. Yes the new Star Wars movies suck but Lucas went through all the crap Joss went through to see his dream movie get made so don't slam him too bad. Fox on the other hand, feel free to insert a grenade in any orifice you can find.

I go to the movies even less often than you, and for the same reasons - although I did go see "Dodgeball" last month to support AT. However, the last movie I saw in a theatre before that was "Contact" in 1997.

When "Serenity" hits the theatre I will vote with my $, as they say, early and often. Joss and Co. have earned as much support as we can give them. I plan on seeing the movie as often as time and my budget will permit.

I will not be downloading it - ever. However, the dvd will have a treasured place in my collection right next to the series box-set.

Okay, serious response.

Not to spin the industry line, but that's someone's deserved money you are taking when you download a movie or a song. That's jobs, and more importantly that's creativity you stifle.

Sure, most of the Browncoats would go and watch the movie anyway, but what about the more casual fans - they see the movie on a crappy DL and tell their friends it sucks, so they don't want to go.

I wouldn't break into Josses house and steal his water heater. I wouldn't smash the window of Adam's car and take off with it. I wouldn't slip Jewel's wallet out of her purse.

Why would I steal from them in this way?

I'm hoping this was youthful (or drunken) zeal and not indicative of a complete lack of ethics.

Please. I am hardly a troll because of one word that I said out of anger.

Well so now that we have decided to never ever download Serenity because it would be wrong, let's make sure nobody else does it either. So come April 22nd, if you see somebody with a video camera in the presence of our beloved movie, do feel free to break it in half. What is he going to do? Tell the police? So go nuts and break some stuff.

And if somebody on the street says "Hey man, want that "Serenity" movie?" Do feel free to stab them in the eye, so at least ONE kind of pirating will be over for them.
