Questions that Auraptor can't/refuses to answer

A new thread idea I've toyed with in the past, and decided to give a chance.

You know when you reach that point in a debate with Auraptor where you put a simple question to him that he can't answer? Which he squirms away from, before skulking out of the thread? I thought it'd be interesting to have a record of all the things he can't answer It would constitute a list of all the glaring errors/contradictions in his worldview.

I'm going to put them in green, so that they're visible:

Auraptor can't answer a request to name a scientific body or institution that disputes the theory of man-made climate change.

Since my joining this site, AU has been the ONE constant here; the most simplistically-minded and and annoying defender of the far right wing status-quo. He's basically a fucking asshole, and a major reason for me mostly leaving this site that I loved so dearly for so long.

Actually, I DID answer this, but kpo isn't satisfied with what I said. So this entire thread is nothing but silly, 'look at me!' grandstanding on the part of kpo. It must be Spring.

Which, btw, is freaking freezing - literally. Coldest 1st day of Spring I can recall in a long time. Dunno if it's the coldest on record, but we're under a freeze warning and a chance ( small ) of some snow flurries or sleet. I know,that's "weather" and not "climate", lol. Sure could use some global warming right about now though.

@ Chrissy - Go away, little girl. Talk radio host Dennis Prager was talking about the differences between the Right and the Left, and how they tend to disagree with each other. The Right base their objections on matters of real substance, where a the Left simply us ad hominems and personal invectives. Chris will call me a 'fucking asshole', but offer no real reasons or basis for that claim. Because I'm " consistent " ? So, anyone who doesn't agree w/ your point of view is a fucking asshole ?

Spock would find this most illogical, and unproductive, Chrissy.

What I will say about Raptor, is that he sure takes allot of crap here that he doesn't have to. Is he reactionary? Yes. But does that make him an asshole? No.

Out of respect for other members and in the interest of bettering the forum I would request that we all act like adults here, and that we refrain from tossing about personal attacks.

The problem that people have with rappy is not his vewpoints, it's that he can't engage in intelligent conversation. Talking to him about a whole bunch of topics is like talking to a flat-earther:

You can show him photos, you can take him on a trip around the world, you can discuss gravity and explain how it necessarily brings planet-sized chunks of matter to a roundish state, you can even ask him what it is that makes him think the earth is flat and pursue the question rigorously -

But no matter how you tackle the topic- pragmatically, observationally, theoretically, rhetorically- he just chooses to believe what he believes. Not much conversation to be had when someone refuses to consider what others have said.

Dealing with someone who is clearly not crazy-ish (like PN) but who obdurately believes crazy shit despite all evidence to the contrary causes a lot of frustration. At that point, there are only three things to do: Ignore him, laugh at him, or insult him. I'm going the way of ignoring him. There are too many interesting people here to talk to, and too many interesting things to talk about to let someone like rappy consume the board, especially since he's just here for the attention anyway.

Yeah, new folks all go through this phase with Rappy. Stick around, you'll eventually see what we mean.

And don't worry, the name-calling doesn't bother him. He likes it. His primary goal is to push buttons and get attention, so getting called names is like Mission Accomplished for him.
