Hitler was pretty quick to outlaw labor unions. Who in recent history has worked towards that goal here in the U.S.?

Putting up roadblocks to voting, making it plain that *some people* clearly shouldn't be voting...

The list of things Rappy doesn't know about Hitler and the Nazis would fill a book large enough to stun a team of oxen.

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

And by the way, the "liberals" that Mussolini spoke of would not recognize the "liberals" of today. However, both he and Hitler would. Please remember that the full name of the NAZI party (Which Hitler co-opted) was the National SOCIALIST German WORKERS Party. Yeah folks, they were left wingers. The "liberals" of the 1930 believed in individual liberty and freedom, those of today try to quench it in the name of "community" (Their new term for collectivism)

I take it you're against the idea of people working together as a community, then? Even the right's beloved tea parties?

This nation was built by individuals. At times they VOLUNTARILY joined together on ships or wagon trains to set out for the unknown. At other times they set out alone, intent on facing and conquering whatever they encountered on their way to making a new life for themselves. However they chose to do it they had one thing in common. They were escaping the all encompassing gaze of government, who they viewed as an impediment, not a help.

Well, except for that time that they all banded together to win their freedom from England, and then took the added pains of writing down in a very specific document all the rules that bound them all together from them on.

Or did you think that each of the thirteen colonies decided to fight the British Empire all on its own?

I'll have to remember that the next time I'm tempted to listen to any history lessons from you, noobie. You're zero for one here so far.

I've always believed that it is far better to learn from other folk's mistakes. As a father of six I've been amazed as how many times we don't.

Stop. Just stop talking. You sound stupider with every word. Seriously, I'm supposed to listen to someone who had six kids before he figured out how to pull out? You're the one saying we should learn from mistakes? You had six tries and still didn't learn. You seem to be quite a slow study.

All one has to do it take a look around the world as see the economic mess the socialist mentality has wrought. ALL have a lower standard of living than we do.

"ALL have a lower standard of living than we do"? Really? Switzerland? Denmark? The Netherlands? Sweden? Japan? All lower standards of living? Hell, every country that has a higher standard of living than we do is more socialist than the U.S. is.

The progressive's reaction? let's be like THEM! Really??? Still more proof of the arrested adolescent co-dependence today's liberals suffer from.

And where has unfettered free-market no-holds-barred/no-regulations/no-rules capitalism thrived and resulted in a higher standard of living? Sudan? Sierra Leone? Afghanistan?

Man. With a title like that I thought this thread was going to be interesting. No such luck.

No one.

Some people clearly shouldn't be voting. Those who aren't citizens, for one. Those not of age, or mentally competent, or dead. And it's important to make sure folks only vote for once, and not several times over, in the same election.

Yeah, it's funny to see you say stuff, simply to hear yourself.

But then, not all of us are connoisseurs of Hitler's art, as you seem to be.

That's because certain folks here are too afraid to discuss the issue, being so in love with and beholden to the concept of big govt, and nanny state policies.

Freedom is a 4 letter word to them. They're all Julias now, or dream to be.

I wonder how many of them eagerly tried to 'click to get started' on the bottom of that image. Idiots.

Thank you for providing such a pristine example of exactly what I was talking about. That's just one of the myriad things you know absolutely nothing about where Hitler is concerned.

And as usual, you felt you just had to pop off about something you know nothing about, and then accuse others of saying stuff simply to hear themselves.

Nazism is widely regarded as a right-wing ideology, along with fascism. You might not like that fact, because you are a right-wing fascist yourself, but that doesn't make it any less true.

Widely regarded as 'right wing' ideology , by extreme, hard core LEFT WINGER propagandists, who want to distort the facts. Sure.

Fascism is all about the Left wing, big govt control over the individual, which is exactly the opposite for what the freedom loving, TEA Party types stand.

But keep trying. After nearly a decade, proving that you're no closer to getting it, does't mean you'll never get a clue.

If only fringe left-wing propaganda supports the idea that fascism is born of the radical right-wing, it should be easy for you to find citations from numerous respected, neutral historical sources to support your opinion? Or, really, any neutral and respected source?

Unless you mean to imply that the general body of historical research is left-wing propaganda and only a small, brave enclave of a privileged few know the "real truth"? I mean, I know I generally consult the Oxford dictionary as my preferred piece of fringe communist propaganda, but I didn't know that the righteous and just were aware of just how radical that basic dictionary was. Geez, you guys are good.

Most of the universities are dominated by big govt, far Left wingers, so anything they don't like or want the public to loathe is going to be painted as " right wing " .

But big govt is ALWAYS a left wing ideology, no matter what guise it takes. It runs counter to what the founders of this country had in mind, assuming anyone actually teaches real US history any more.

I'm guessing that's not too often the case these days.
