In the months to follow, Toy Vault plans to launch multiple table-top games, decorative pillows, a line of collectable mini-plushes of the entire Serenity crew, and more.

“Licensing ‘Firefly’ is a dream come true for all of us here at Toy Vault,” says Project Director, Zac Pensol. “We're all great fans of the show and are committed to creating products that fans will think are absolutely... well... shiny!”

“The ‘Firefly’ fans are loyal to the franchise and this line from Toy Vault will certainly give them something to cheer about,” said Jeffrey Godsick, President of Fox Consumer Products.

I checked out their site, and this does seem to be right up their alley. While I love the stuff that QMX has been making, this might give a more inexpensive line of Firefly memorabilia. And I'll take all I can get anyway.

A Tall Card game that looks and plays at least close to what we saw on the show;

Table top, nice.

Plush toys are interesting, but it seems strange to me to have plush toy versions of characters on a live action show.

A Plush Serenity or Plush Reavers on the other hand...

Don't judge me. I can have them fight.

Bytemite, you totally said it, a plushy Serenity... that would make me squee like the fangirl I am with my wallet in hand.

Seriously, I want one, I have wanted one for years, so badly I spent over 14 hours knitting one. oh oh and if it can light up like a glowworm ( yes totally showing my age and obsession with lights and firefly here), I would squee still louder.

and hold it and squeeze it and and ...yes make it fight the reaver ship, or maybe the dinosaurs I insist on keeping on bookshelves.

Fan-tastic! There's not nearly enough Firefly goodness out there yet. QMX does a fine job, but this is one good thing there can never be too much of!
