Hey everybody

Here it is the last post I may haave for a long while. Hurricane Ivan is on his way to kick my ass here in Mobile, AL. Consider this a last will in case of the absolute worst.

ALL FIREFLYFANS CAN HAVE ALL MY STUFF....ok...you'll have to fight my roommate but he's skinny.

Seriously....if you pray please ask for mercy. If you don't please start.

We are facing 140mph sustained winds...at a rate of 9mph is gonna be brutal.

I just wanted to close by saying thanks to all of you. Whether, you've read one of my post or reading your first. Thanks for keeping the show alive.

I am sure we'll be ok.

until then.

Keep flying...cause we will be soon.

Yikes. Good luck vibes to all the Alabamians (is that what you would call yourselves?) getting hit by Ivan! I used to live in Florida so I've seen one or two hurricanes in my time but none as massive as this one!

Oh wow. Wednesday tonight, isn't it?

GET THE HELL OUT!
And if you're staying in the area, find a good shelter, keep your head down and your feet dry.

Hoping you, your family, pets, home, and possessions come thru the other side all OK. Post back as soon as you're able!

Good luck, man. Knock on wood, but this is the first year I can remember that a hurricane hasn't kicked North Carolina's ass. So with empathy from the Old North State, I hope you make it through OK. Watch your ass.

If you are not evacuating Haslinger, keep your head down. Make sure you are stocked up on batteries, water, and non perishable foods. It is going to be nasty when it hits.

My thoughts and prayers are w/ you Haslinger and every single person, Browncoat and otherwise, in the Big Easy, all of LA & AL. May you all be safe.

Haslinger, man, flee. Come up to Birmingham, at least, and get the ass end of it. You need a weekend in Memphis, man! Go there.

Email me if you seriously need someplace to go.

Prayer is being sent your way. Here in Maryland, all I know of hurricanes is last years Isabel, and that was bad enough. Stay safe!!

LET US KNOW THAT YOU ARE OKAY!! When this is all said (or yelled) and done, let us know that you and yours are still here.

I'm from Houston, but was just in Mobile a couple weeks ago. I really hope that you and others on the Gulf can escape this one with minimal damage. It's pretty scary when you've got no real defense against nature's fierce attacks.

Are you gonna leave town? PLEASE let us know how you're doing and if you need help with anything.

You're a browncoat. I know you'll keep flying - despite Mother *Nature* and all her wacky nephews..... :)
