Homeschooling is a lot of work but completely worth it! We homeschooled our daughters through grade school. It was great for them, and us. First, you need to make sure you will be complying with any state requirements for your location. There should be ample groups in your area that can guide you through it. Also, your state should have any requirements listed on their website, or your local school district site. It's not difficult. Also, you will be able to find their requirements for classes and what they expect as proof that your child is receiving an adequate education. This may be state tests or something else. There are a lot of good curricula for homeschooling out there. Good luck!

I really would love to, that has always been on the table since day one, but we are in a horrible position right now...
First we totalled a car so we decided to do some major scale home projects ourselves, and then I had pneumonia almost all of the summer- so not much got done, and then we had super high winds rip us a new one (but insurance only pays for half so now we have about nine irons in the fire and the weather is STILL not co-operating.) All that while juggleing all of our health problems and not having a real vacation in years... The only time I get a break is the little nap I catch while she's in school. Take that away and I think I'd go just bonkers...
Only plus is that our kid prolly knows more about construction than and other kid in the state

Oh no.
I was just re-doing her math homework AGAIN and I realized whenever there is more than a couple numbers in a math problem she gets the numbers jumbled.........
CRAP. OH CRAP.
I don't even know HOW to deal with THAT!

Hoping you hear back from that option you were looking into. If she's mixing things around and having a hard time in other similar ways it can be challenging, but there are ways out there to teach her so she'll catch up I'm sure, its finding them that's the challenge

That's tough, hopefully you'll hear back from the idea you've been looking at soon. There is a way out there to teach her and get her able to do these things, the hard thing is finding that way, but it _is out there.
