I forget which designer said it, but it was something about taking off the last thing you accessorized, and I think that fits here...

Take off the dorky headpiece, this isn't Elf-land. AND the nacklace, talk about overkill. The gold ribbon necklace can stay....

What I notice about Inara's style is that she usually looks elegant but touchable, too much hardware is distracting and she doesn't really need it anyway, and I'd have to imagine a lot of clunky jewelry would be a job inconvience...

I'm sure I lost half the guys here on the word "touchable".... or was it "I"??

The above 2012 cosplay was not the first time that a fan has used the 2005 costume design. In November 5, 2007, the costume was used in fan art.
