Watched Objects in Space about a week ago. I didn't quite follow your prescribed path, since I started early, in August. I'll probably watch the movie sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I know there are those watching on Fridays in the original broadcast order, but that was not my plan, which I outlined in my first post. I almost kept to the plan, except I doubled up on a Sunday since I knew I wouldn't get the chance to watch anything on the Monday after. I also didn't have the time to watch any of the episodes with commentary, but I did watch all the bonus features and the BDM on the 30th. I don't see the sense in watching them out of order.

Uh, I got this from S.F. Browncoats:

Quote:

Heads up fellow Browncoats - The Science Channel is having a 10th Anniversary special on 11.11.12 including cast members being interviewed together. Can't wait!
The SFers usually know what's going on (have had a Firefly booth at our S.F. Con every year and organize the annual "Can't Stop the Signal" Serenity theatrical viewing ), it's probably accurate.

I stumbled across Dr. Horrible on Science last night, but missed Nathan's tweeting it with Felicia Day. Did anyone else catch it??

I chose a different decennial. (Howdy Easy; always good to read your voice)
Thursday December 20 will mark the ten year anniversary of the first broadcast of what may be, still, the finest pilot ep in the history of TV. I'll be hosting a dinner party for a baker's dozen Firefy Flans. Dessert will be Flan; post-prandial entertainment will be the aforementioned FPEitHoT

I haven't watched the show for a while, not since I got the Blu-Ray a couple of years ago,

I haven't watched the show for a while. Since I got the Blu-ray, a couple of years ago, I've watched only the FPEitHoT, and that only once

"Serenity" (the pilot episode) was broadcast last, on December 20, 2002, but I believe it was sometime in January when the official announcement was made by FOX.

IIRC, there never was an actual official "its cancelled" statement.
Just that it was put on hiatus.

Though, tearing down the sets was a pretty good indication...
