Is it just me or does it seem like WB treats its television series very well. They seem to be the only small network that I know of that takes risk with its series and nurtures an audience to go with it.

This is from SCIFI.COM

The WB Network has given a full-season pickup to Do Over, its back-to-the-future sitcom, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The netlet has already picked up a full season of its fledgling Birds of Prey series.

WB are a pretty good network. And they do take risks and care about their viewers, ie. Roswell.

I like Do Over. The cast is good and so is the writing. The WB is good to their viewers, other than the occasional shifting of time slots.

Jayne: Time for some thrilling heroics.

Wash: Every man there go back inside or we will blow a new crater in this little moon.

Interesting that u say that. The WB takes 'risks' cause they dont have anything to lose. As u already said, they are a smaller network. Sometimes this works out for fans...but mostly it doesnt.

Good to us? How about the whole BTVS fiasco? That and the fact that the ONLY reason we haven't had buffyverse crossovers in forever is that the WB has forbidden it.

I'm a little pissed. Can you tell?

I thought I read somewhere that Bird of Prey had already been canceled? It's been picked up for the rest of the season? color me confused.

I fell in love with a beautiful vampire girl down in México, now we're trying to make a go of it on the straight and narrow and put our lives back together here in Sunnydale.

Is it just me, or is Andrew the funny quote king this season?

Well, maybe not KING, but he's up there. I think it's just that all the characters--excpet Spike--are funnier this year than last. Pulse he's no longer being overshadowed by Warren or Jonathan. Whenever the writers have a funny geek quote, they can only dump it on him, or the First.

But don't forget to watch what's left of the series in January. There's going to be a double showing of new episodes on January 8th, followed by the series finale on the 15th.

At least the WB is letting them finish the series properly.
