Why is Kwicko the only one who I see respond to a message in FFF?

Weird; I responded to this, but my response doesn't appear to be here.

Ying, I went back to the new site and no, I haven't gotten ANY notifications since then, as was the case before. I DO get PMs, but I love the new site for all the reasons Rose enumerated, so I'm willing to give up the notifications. I've not had problems with my e-mail, and I don't know what irregularities there might be with my account, as I did everything I'm suppsoed to. As to whether you're wrong or not, others will have to chime in:

Does anyone using the new site get notifications from anyone else, whether they're on the new site or the old?

I took out my signature, so that should solve that problem. I also closed font color and font, which hopefully will solve the OTHER problems. By the way, I also experience the "cutoff" problem on the new site, when someone posts something like a graphic that is too large. My sig wasn't too large on the new site, but apparently was on the old one.

And yes, I was wondering about the "Not PN" in titles, too, until I went to the old site and saw how it's set up. I like knowing who posted a thread, too, so that's another reason I went back to the new site. I immediately didn't like that it doesn't show who put up the thread. I like it MUCH better--the only thing I miss is the list of emoticons, but since I have my own which I like better anyway, that's no biggie.

My PM seems to be working fine. I mean, for all I know there are some getting eaten, but I've had some come through so I figured it was fine.

What reason had proved best ceased to look absurd to the eye, which shows how idle it is to think anything ridiculous except what is wrong.

Yeah, I've had no trouble with PMs, they come to my e-mail, but notifications? None.

Are your PM's going to other people though Niki?

I've gotten a few, but those might have only been from people using the Blue site. The PM system might be messed up like the notification system is.

Dunno. I've gotten numerous PMs over time, but I don't know if they come from people on the "blue site" or this one.

People have gotten my PMs from the new site, I know that. I wonder if email provider makes any difference in receiving PMs?
