Any hope at all that this show gets renewed?

I just borrowed the DVD's from a friend. I ended up watching every single episode in the course of 2 days, I was so addicted.
Once I got near the last 2-3 episodes, I began to get a bit angry. I didn' think there was another show that would get such a hold on me like Farscape did. I fell in love with the show. I need more dammit. The thing with Firefly that I think is pretty cool, is the characters are already fairly developed and rich already. Not like most shows where it takes most of the first few seasons to really start developing them. DS9, Farscape, etc. Don't get me wrong I'm sure they could continue to evolve immensly but just saying that they began pretty developed from the start of the show.
I don't get why the suits at these stupid networks continue to yank great shows like Firefly and Farscape off the air. But, honestly, I mean I know there is a movie in the works and Farscape has their miniseries coming soon, but any hope that the movie might spur a little interest in the show and they'd have it renewed? I'm hoping that that might be the case with the Farscape miniseries (not likely but, I gotta dream)

This got asked at DragonCon this past weekend, and the unanimous answer from Nathan, Adam, and Jewel was "no", not because there isn't tremendous anticipation and support for the show/characters, but because FOX cancelled the show and optioned the movies to Universal. Even if the movies are a success, going back and putting the show back on the air (and I'm paraphrasing here) "makes someone look pretty stupid, doesn't it?"
But the option is there for two more movies past the first one, and all of the cast members are so enthusiastic about working together and with Joss that I don't think there'd be any problems with them making room in their schedules for a whole bunch of movies, and the production values are going to be a whole lot nicer on the big screen, so I think I can live with this.
(But I do hope some FOX executives meet up with some Reavers)
