Is it bad that I'm soo Jones-ing for something to watch in mid-June that I looked up Fall shows now? You bet. It looks like there's gonna be a flood of new things to hate, too
What are you waiting to see?

I didn't know they cancelled Harry's Law and CSI Miami, but...oh well...

My fave current show iz starting its final seezon July 15. Breaking Bad.
Sorta final, anyway. Theyre dividing it in 2, so I think 8 showz then 8 more sumtime later. AMC did that with Walking Dead S2 also. I suppoze they figure it gets better ratingz that way.

Is that the ONLY thing you'll be waiting for, Jo??
Things I guess I'll be waiting for, most of them just out of default...
Castle
Parenthood
Private Practice
CSI-NY
Things I'm actually looking forward to:
Downton Abbey
The Finder
I caught the last couple episodes of Touch, and it's not nearly half as bad as I expected it to be, but it's now on Friday's and I think it's gonna be hard for me to keep up with.
I have to wait a YEAR for the return of Sherlock, season 3.
Damn, you U.K.!!!
The sequel to Avatar-TLA is running now, It's called Legend of Korra and you can watch it on Nick.com. My whole family is addicted...
I'm really gonna miss out on medical and sci-fi-ish shows, but I don't think Revolution or Mob Doctor is gonna be on that list... Anybody see that promo pic for Mob Doc and the "This is my white crew with the token black person."
I don't think anyone from Hollyweird has even been in a hospital lately, white people sure aren't in the majority anymore....
I might give Vegas and Animal Practice a try out, but most of the rest of the shows look like they weren't even TRYING on the casting. "Send in the next perfect bimbo and guy who can fit into skinny jeans. You'll do"
Joss would be appalled...
Anybody got anything on cable that's soo fascinating It would give me a reason to pay for it??

Well I searched long and hard to find a show to get into last year and the only ones that I stuck with were
Person of Interest.
&
New Girl
Thereafter there are the usual favourites of Burn Notice, Eureka, Supernatural and Star Wars the Clone Wars.
°...Well here I am.°

I'll watch Person of Interest if it's on, it doesn't bother me, but doesn't really intrigue me at this point. I have been watching quite a bit of Burn Notice in the re-runs, and the one thing about the guy I do find fascinating is his ability to pull off dozens of generic characters, that is really his nitch there...I don't think anybody else could've pulled that off as well...

Initially I was a little like that too. But subtly and with clever method an arc began to show through that was more character driven, and it all comes together. Better still Amy Acker shows up in an episode as well! Which was a real bonus, and the character actually had some thought behind her.

That's true to a point Wish. Being half English I must admit to chuckling a little at his British accent (at least one of them anyway) but I can happily let it slide as it's very funny nonetheless. But you are right, he is great at falling into a character as the story demands which can't be easy. The only other guy (on TV) who I thought did this well was Victor from Dollhouse. That guy was awesome at different personas.. and he appears on Person of Interest too :D
But back to Burn Notice - I must admit I often just crack up at the 'How to Build' moments. I've learnt a lot about being a getaway driver and how to cope during a bank robbery should I find myself caught in the middle of one.. Oh and how to fake being a doctor :D and I almost never leave the house without Duct tape :D

I caught that ep. with Amy, and I will agree, she did a swell job.
Sometimes when I watch Burn Notice I wonder what would happen if we pitted him and MacGyver against each other?? Add in a little La Femme Nikita maybe and Jason Statham... Wouldn't THAT be fun

The only new shows I'm interested in are Revolution on NBC, and Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue on ABC. NBC also has Do No Harm, an update on the Jekyll/Hyde story scheduled for mid-season. Other shows I'll continue with include Community, Fringe, Grimm, Once Upon a Time, Modern Family, Suburgatory and New Girl. I'll catch up with Castle on Hulu occasionally. Not sure if I'll also be watching Parenthood, since I have the last four episodes in my Hulu queue right now but haven't felt like watching them. If and when I do then I can decide if it's worth watching more.

As long as "BONES" is on next season (it is) I'm fine.
