I guess that could be interesting, though I don't really see any reason why the Engineer has to be portrayed as benevolent and given benevolent justifications when his actions obviously aren't. Just creates more logic problems.

Engineer is pretty much evil, or has a sense of morality we don't understand that still basically means evil.

I guess that considering the themes of the movie that some of the Christian themes you want to bring in make sense, but I still think there's some issues with this. There's plenty of storytelling trope reasons for the death you want without having to bring in some kind of slut shaming.

The Engineer is like a human engineer -- he looks at his design, he sees our defects, and is ready to throw humanity into the trashcan. We are a product of his ingenuity. Obviously, Elizabeth does not agree with that Godlike viewpoint so she throws God into the trashcan. God isn't disposed of so easily and crawls out of the trash and comes back as monsters to haunt the 4 Alien movies.

My dad hated it, my cousin loved it, I thought it was okay. Byte, I didn't see that "you're evil because you rutted" message in there at all, I don't know where you're getting that at all. It doesn't seem like Dr. Shaw's relationship with Dr. Hollaway is all that important. The only person who asks Elizabeth about sex is the android, and I don't think he really cares who she is with. I got the impression that she and Dr. Hollaway are either married or very committed anyways, so this seems like a non issue for the plot of the film to me.

I assume you're my pal until you let me know otherwise.
