Ugh I hate it when politicians try to backstep something they said wrong, but then level an accusation against the people who were justifiably offended. Not enough tolerance? Dude they thought you were condoning the killing of gay people, of course they aren't going to tolerate that. By your own admission even YOU wouldn't.

The death threats were over the line, but don't turn the offended outrage leveled at you into some damn bullshit message about Christianity being under attack - no, YOUR DUMB ASS IS. You brought this entirely on yourself, you could have just quoted the translations about homosexuality being an abomination that mention nothing about killing gay people, but you CHOSE the translation that does. Don't go hiding behind scriptures and crying religious intolerance, own up to it.

It would have been better if he had quoted the bits about it not being right without the killing parts. By quoting the killing parts he's being too agressive. I don't want anyone being killed here, maybe he does? Or maybe he just didn't realize that quoting killing parts will make everyone think he wants that? Which I would hope he doesn't.

Kinda hard to take anything seriously after reading this first line.

"outlawing" gay marriage ? It's never been the law of NC or any other state in the union before. How does one outlaw that which isn't a law in the first place ?

And as for 'joining the 21st century', wtf? EVERY state in the union which has had the issue of gay marriage on the ballot, the issue has been voted down. Every single time. It's only been activist judges who have imposed gay marriage ( an oxymoron ) onto the public.

But this 'pastor', sounds like he never made it out of grade school. A true idiot.

Byte, he's trying to say only activist judges imposed same-sex marriage legality. Unfortunately he's wrong. It was VOTED ON by state legislatures, and governors either signed or vetoed the laws. Only California (thus far) left it up to the people and, just as with civil rights and segregation, leaving it up to the people isn't a good idea...as California can attest!

I'm pretty sure that's what you meant, I'm just clarifying that it was NOT "activist judges", but state legislatures.
