I have what may seem like a silly question...
Does anyone know if he sticks with his English accent, or if he tries to pull off the American?
English people never quite manage American properly (Jude Law, Cold Mountain....Ewww...) and not many Americans manage the English. I really like the idea of Bale as Batman, but if the voice is wrong, it may be a complete disaster...

All I can think of when I see Christian Bale is Empire of the Sun. I see him as the 11 or 12 yr old boy, Jim. Forever it will be that way. I can't explain it.
So any serious roles he might play are muted in my mind by his childhood image. Right now I see a little boy in a batman suit doing a "show off the costume" pose. :)
I do intend to see this movie though, even though they left off the nipples.

Christian Bale will use an American accent just like he did in American Psycho and Shaft.

You can hear his voice in the teaser!
FYI, Bale is Welsh, not English.

Ah. Thank you. I havent seen either of those other films. The only film I have seen was Reign of Fire, and lets say that he sounded very passably english!
My apologies to the Welsh....

Wales has given us many great actors!
And this new batsuit is far more believable than the previous suits.

I seem to recall george cloney saying (of his batsuit) something like "Getting into that outfit was like getting old. You couldn't move, hear anything, or see anything."
I get a kick outa that.

When I first saw Batman & Robin, I wished I couldn't hear or see his "performance".
George Clooney is a no talent hack!

Am the only one who thinks they really should let Batman rest for a decade or so?
It's jusy become old...
That look is more like the Batman Returns look - and all these superhero flicks do this tight leathery costume thing - it's just dull now.
OK just seen those links of the Batmobile - Looks like a bit of Lego my nephew made the other day.
Gary Oldman - Let me guess not the pyschotic overacting villain is he?
Sorry to be the Grouch in the mix. But I used to like Batman.
