I just went to Ben and Jerry's flavor suggestion webpage ( https://secure.benjerry.com/contact-us/suggest-a-flavor.cfm) and suggested they create a flavor for Joss Whedon with part of the profits going to Equality Now. I cited the following reasons:

- Already devoted fanbase that will try anything Whedon is associated with (usually more than once)
- The Avengers Movie will likely be a huge blockbuster and make him a household name
- Equality Now is a fantasic organization that fights for women's rights around the globe.

I suggested calling it "The Flavor in the Woods". You can suggest whatever name you like, I just hope you will all decide to do it.

UPDATE:
There was a suggestion over at Whedonesque that if it is called "The Flavor in the Woods", Maple Syrup would be a great flavor to use. As ShadowQuest pointed out, "You can't go wrong with maple syrup. And since Ben & Jerry's is from Vermont...hello. Real, honest-to-goodness maple syrup, none of that fake colored corn syrup crap."

I don't know if they can ever top Americone Dream. That stuff is awesome. Chocolate, icecream cone and caramel. Mmmmm

I don't know how loyal a fanbase we really are. Cabin in the Woods is not exactly crushing the box office.

I'd like to see him get a flavor. I think "Flavor in the Woods" is kind of a terrible name for ice cream, though.

... It's ranked fifth on boxofficemojo. That's pretty respectable for an R-rated film without a best-selling YA trilogy or Zac Efron creating a draw. The Titanic re-release wishes it was doing as well as Cabin in the Woods.

Facts are stubborn things.
