Another newbie here. I got interested in Firefly because I'm a Joss lover (Buffy and Angel baby!!) and after seeing all the buzz about it - especially on amazon.com where it got a 5-star rating and over a thousand reviews, WOW! I bought the DVDs a few weeks ago and I haven't been disappointed one bit, love this show to pieces! Been sick the last couple of days so I've been sleeping more than watching but I've only got 3 more eppys to go...booooo! My favorites so far are The Train Job, Ariel, Safe, Out of Gas....but my all time 10 out of 10 best episode ever is War Stories!! I love the Zoe/Wash ship, River got even more cool and mysterious, and Wash/Zoe/Mal would make for some verrrrry interesting fanfics I think!

I just joined yesterday and I've received heaps of friendly welcomes, so it only makes sense that I do the same.

May I just suggest you watch the last three pronto as there maybe a few giveaways to plot lines around here and you don't want to spoil your fun :)

Yes, I agree with Som.

Sadly, I could not help looking here and got spoiler knowledge for Jaynestown, Ariel, and Objects in Space. I mean, Jaynestown, especially! I knew the mystery.

I would recommend watching the rest before reading too much of the wonderful stuff here.

I think that Objects In Space is often sited as many people's favorite episode, so you have that treat coming.

Thanks for the welcomes...two more eppys to go now. (In-laws are in town, what can ya do?) I'll post lots once I watch them both.

On a completely unrelated note, anyone know where to get some Firefly avis? Specifically Zoe/Wash ones? I could always get my hubby to make one for me but I had to ask...if there's any already made out there, I'll take 'em!
