And just as cool: “We had no sets,” says [Graham] Robertson who, ironically, has dressed sets for hundred-million-dollar films such as “Pirates of the Carribean,” “Swordfish” and a new sci-fi epic, “Serenity.”

Not bad company to be in. Makes Serenity stand out.

Thanks Haslinger (a Mac dude, no doubt! :-)

Wellll, I don't think that necessarily follows. They were lumping things together and they went with one price because it's more impressive. Last I heard, Serenity was a $50 million movie.

Meanwhile, I'm actually quite a bit more excited by what these people are doing... a sci-fi epic, for $30,000, shot without sets, and most of it looks pretty damn good. I know they're doing the all-greenscreen thing for Skycaptain, but for an indie film to do it... Man, that's awesome.
