You're actually right. NIKI2's signature contains an image that causes the text to stretch out beyond the container of the post. There are several things I can try, but not sure if it'll be compatible across all browsers. Will have to experiment a bit. Though, the simplest solution is to just tell her to reduce the size of the image she is using in her signature.
It seems to be doing it with other images as well -when I put in the screenshots, they stretched my own post beyond the right border of the thread. Hey, at least now I know what's causing it, so I can start figuring out how to work around it as much as possible on my end, too.

Haken, on the old site, you could find Blue Sun Room fics by searching the alphabet letter listing. Not ideal, but at least if you knew the title of the fic you were looking for, you could go to the letter, and find it. The new site doesn't seem to have this feature. Also, it doesn't have what would be a much more useful feature: ability to search for fics by their title, or by the author. For example, I searched "ebfiddler" and the only thing that turned up was a fic where another author thanked me in their brief description; the search didn't find any of the fics I've written. I also searched on one of my titles, and the search found only the two chapters out of ten where the title word was mentioned in the brief description, not the other eight chapters of the same-titled fic. Since the brief descriptions very often don't contain any mention of the author, title of the fic, characters within them, or contents of the fic, the ability to search this field is of limited use. I would very much like to be able to search for fics by title and author, as it would be very useful in finding older fics.

Also, a mention somewhere up front that the Blue Sun Room contains fanfiction would be nice. I'm not very net-savvy, but I visited this fansite for several months before I even realized that fanfiction could be found here. Didn't occur to me to look in "Blue Sun Room" when what I was looking for was stories.

I keep thinking of things, Haken. The UBB codes list that pops up when you're writing a response is very handy. Is it possible to add the bit that you find at the old site about how to put in smiley faces and winks and such? Especially for html near-illiterates such as myself.

Ditto. My favorite features are probably the customizable avatar and the listing of who started a thread next to it, which helps me avoid a lot of garbage.
What reason had proved best ceased to look absurd to the eye, which shows how idle it is to think anything ridiculous except what is wrong.

One thing I did notice is that currently there is no option to edit Blue Sun Room items on the beta site. I take it that will be added.
