Morning fellow Coats!

Ain’t been around much here of late, been workin a lot. Anyhoo, I want to wish a belated birthday to Mr. Tudyk. Sorry that I couldn’t relate that to you sooner Alan, that is if you have actually come here.

So A.T. is from west Texas! I’d love to see him and Summer make it back here at some future time for some good ’ol Texas BBQ!

Be that as it may, as I posted here several days ago about me & Mrs. Z making our way to see JC of Mars a bit back. Yepper, some of the movie may have been a bit hokey, but as Sci/Fi fans I think that we are often asked to expand our imagination. We can either let the fantasy in, or expel the images and hoped to be entertained some other time. In this case it was easy for me to enjoy the show without becoming too critical.

Now, that said, the wife and I went to a friend’s comic shop afterwards. Several of his patrons asked us if the movie was any good? We spoke a resounding “Yes”. Also my friend told me that he was at Comic Expo in Dallas this year and saw Adam Baldwin walking around milling with the crowd. That was cool!!!

He had some stories about Mr. Baldwin that were funny and right up there with Jayne Cobb. Anyway, nuff said, I’m here to wish A.T. a happy birthday. Hope it was a good one Alan!
