INDIEWIRE.COM - Joss Whedon looks tired, really tired, when I meet him at the Four Seasons in Austin for a quick one-on-one. Can you blame him...

The man has more irons in the fire than Jack and I do, and that's saying something...Didn't his wife have a baby last year or somethin', too?

About those irons...

OK, I get Avengers, and why the buzz on that, being that it is the culmination of several things...

I don't get the Cabin in the Woods thing... What's the big deal about another horror movie, and why should I care (other than Joss doin it) if someone murders off a bunch of brats in a cabin in the woods... Is there some big backstory I don't know about?? I admit I can count on one hand the number of those kinds of things I have watched... I like to relax or be inspired more than need a nicotine patch when I sit down to watch a movie.

Somebody fill me in here.... What am I missin?

I've tried to avoid spoilers for Cabin in the Woods as much as possible, but from reviews that have come out in the past week or so I think it is the typical Whedon touch of taking a tired genre and tipping it over on its head, doing something unpredictable with it.

I'm very curious to see how Much Ado About Nothing turns out. It sounds like Bellwether will be Joss's own little playground. Could make for some very interesting stuff.

Pardon my language, but when I first started watching Buffy, one question kept coming up:
"Who the Fuck is writing this stuff...it's brilliant" The name was Joss Whedon, and I have been a huge fan ever since.

How wild that we're going to get 3 Joss movies this year.

I just took a quick peak at Joss' co-writer, Drew Goddard.
He reminds me of John Lennon.
