We both have the data. We're LIVING in a time when these theories are being batted around, back and forth, but no one is paying attention.
Curiously enough, I've had exactly these sorts of internet 'debates' going back 15 years or more, with young earth creationists, end timers and the like. I've been to this dance before. Nothing changes. Hell, I was on the chicken little side of the planet dying / oil running out / climate changing 30 YEARS ago !
But you know what ? The world didn't end. I grew the hell up, and realized that yes, some folks who honestly believe they're trying to save the planet, can still be WRONG.

So you weasel out again. Why am I not surprised? You'll do anything to get out of logically debating evidence, because both logic and facts are foreign territory for you. I keep waiting for the day that you will realize that strongly held opinion is not "truth", and that picking "a" fact out of a sea of contradictory facts is not being "factual".

This, combined with our greater understanding of the role that carbon dioxide/ sulfur oxide release
(from extensive vulcanism) played in nearly all of the major extinction events would give any sane person pause.
The equivalents to the posted events have not happened within the past few hundred MILLION years. These events which are not "historical", they are "geological". I know that fear is uncomfortable and panic is unproductive, but we as a species should be engaging in SOME sort of response to our own self-created disaster.

AGW is a fraud, or at the very best, a gross miscalculation of shoddy evidence and poorly crafted projections.

And jeez, you can't possibly summarize that "fact" for us? 
'Cause you and I know, that would lead to questions... questions you couldn't possibly answer, and evidence you couldn't possibly refute. You'd have to resort to ignoring it. So, sooner or later, you'd have to post "I WIN! I WIN!" and then bail out of the thread, like you always do.

I really think AnthonyT hit the nail on the head when he observed that for little Rappy, facts and truthiness are divorced from each other. To little Rappy, his personal version of truthiness beats any large collection of facts any day.
I also think that since he adheres so strongly to his truthiness - which is divorced from facts - his truthiness qualities as a belief - which is by definition irrational. That is his main function here - to spew his truthiness no matter how many facts contradict it.
Well, plus the fact that he trolls constantly for attention by being provocative when he has nothing of substance to contribute.

The British High Court rules AlGore's propaganda movie contained multiple glaring errors, which were made in "the context of alarmism and exaggeration."
( Of course, AlGore thinks the core temp of our planet is several MILLION degrees, and not the 4,000 to 6,000 C, as everyone else estimates )

Rappy, the problem is, I'm not following Al Gore like you follow Rush Limbaugh. I mean, really, do you think scientific truth is decided by some sort of prize fight? In THIS corner, AL GORE! and in THIS corner, RUSH LIMBAUGH!
You cannot for the life of you divorce emotion from discussion, can you? It seems impossible for you to sit down and look at data w/o some sort of glamour attached to it by "the authorities". I keep trying, really I do, to show you where you go off track and how you might actually learn to think like a real boy, but you keep insisting on thinking like a sheep.
