I don't like it, plus they don't have Zoe and Shepard Book. Their arn't any black people on The Big Bang Theory.

I think Raj would've worked better as Simon, he's the one who's the most polite and awkward around women, but I guess it works okay. I'd also switch Penny and Amy, or have Amy be Zoe, the later configuration probably works best because the crew composition was like that at the beginning of the movie.

Obviously the main point of this line-up is sitting back and imagining your favorite River scenes portrayed by Jim Parsons.

Bernadette should be River and Penny should be Kaylee, because Bernadette is a pint-sized genius and Penny is a country girl making her way in the world and enjoying sex. Sheldon should be either Simon or Mal; probably Mal if they're going to have Amy as Inara. Howard fits Wash fairly well, which leaves Raj as Jayne... or Book. He'd probably work better for Book, becuase I just don't think he has the aggression for Jayne. Not that any of them do.

What reason had proved best ceased to look absurd to the eye, which shows how idle it is to think anything ridiculous except what is wrong.

I actually like Sheldon as Jayne kind of because he's kinda arrogant and socially inappropriate, just in a different way.

But... The Penny Bernadette idea works.

I wonder if the guy who drew that knew this was so much fan bait and would get people talking about who should be who. Probably kicking back laughing at us, maybe even trolling under an anonymous handle.

Don't over analyze comedy. Instead, imagine Sheldon and Penny dressing up for a silly Firefly party. They've done it for Flash/Wonder Woman.
