Baltimore, MD Meet Up

For anyone who isn't a member of "Meet Up", there is hopefully a Browncoat meet up on Sat., Sept 4 at 2:00 at the Cafe Brio - 904 S. Charles Street. There are Firefly meet ups the first Saturday of every month for those interested, although I gather the last few have been cancelled. So, anyone interested in this one?

My days of not takin' you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

I probably would try to come, but I'm getting married in less than a month and I don't think I have any free Saturdays.

Hmm. Getting married vs firefly - a tough choice. Here's the link to meet up http://firefly.meetup.com/. Why don't you sign up and then you can stay posted on whether it happens or not. I'll also post here again with any updates. Oh, and congratulations! Hope the significant other is a Firefly fan too!

Thanks for the congrats!! As far as my Fiance, well...she's not so much the sci-fi fan, but I'm still trying to win her over to the Browncoat side!

And as far as Firefly Meetup, I'm already a member, so I'll see how things go!!

Man, I'd love to go but I have newborn twins at home (really!) and I think I just signed away my social life for the next 18 years. Call me in 2022, we'll have lunch.

Well, I just got an email from Meetup.com and because there were only three RSVP's (two of which were me and my mom) the Firefly meetup in Baltimore this Saturday has been canceled. DARNIT! I was really looking forward to go! O well, I guess we can just try again in October. Hopfully more people will RSVP this time. For a meetup to go through, you need at least five RSPV's. Please RSVP next time! Please!

It is a holiday weekend, never a good time to plan. I'm recently returned to the MD area and would like to be able to go but this weekend is scrap.

Maybe some of the local Baltimore Browncoats are enjoying the festivities at WorldCon- supposedly there is a forum and episode marathon going on.
