Okay, so why is gmail such a big thing? Why are people going 'me me me' over them?
Seriously, all I know so far is 'gmail is Google email'. What's the difference between that and Hotmail (aside from Hotmail being owned by the Devil and all his little wizards)?

What's so great about Gmail?
You get 1 gig of memory and can attach files up to 10mb.
And it's all free.
I think Yahoo Mail now offers 100MB of memory in response to Gmail.
The thing about Gmail is that it filters through the content of you email to determine what ads you'll see. So if you get an email from a friend about movies, you'll see ads on the side concerning movie websites.
