Simon, Kaylee and Cinderella

Oh dear god, lol.
I like to think, that since River really doesn't look anything like the rest of her family (she's got a more asian look to her) that she might be adopted. No matter what, the two have grown up as brother and sister. Not gonna change.
And I'm a big fan of the Cinderella scenario. Phantom of the Opera ruined it. Cinderella complexes are bad. Kaylee can think for herself and survive without a man.
All I know is that a part of me is grateful that the series ended before Joss could destroy those two (Look what he did to Fred and Wesley! And Buffy and Angel! And Willow and Tara!) You can't have a happy couple on Joss' shows... Zoe and Wash are like... an anomily.

I just don't see Kaylee and Simon as a viable or believeable pairing!!
and the cinderlla aspect of it seems cheesy..I know there are those who love the cinderlla story thingy..but its the more dark and edgey stuff that keeps it interesting..I'd rather know about the wicked stepmother and the ugly sisters!!lol

I have thought that River was adopted as well because Summer and Sean don't look like they could be siblings. Sean and Elizabeth Hurley might look like siblings but Elizabeth is too old to play River.
Of course, Mrs. Tam might have had an affair with the gardner or the pool man or Mr. Tam's best friend and oops!
