In need of browncoat support in San Diego during Comic Con

Hey fellow Browncoats!

I am new here. Till now I've just been looking at the topics and threads in various forums. But that's not important. I live in Poland and I plan to attend the San Diego Comic Con with my best Friend. I was wondering if any of You plan to go there, so that we could meet some Foreign fellow browncoats. The "need help" part would concern any information about accomodation costs for those few days. Maybe some of You live there or stay at friends when You go to comic con. We would apreciate any help in this matter. The costs of traveling from Poland to USA + comic con badge are quite large. We of course want to pay, but maybe a little less then those "Alliance" hotels want :)

I sure hope someone from there writes in or someone who is going writes in to help you, traveling can be very expensive.

Yeah, aspecialy long ones. The plane ticket costs as much as i earn in a month :). That's why I came up with this idea. I thought "Browncoats are the most helpful and positive people in the Verse. They keep doing the impossible, and sure they are mighty". There is still couple of months time. I forgot to write this in my first post but if anyone will try to help us, well provide a longer characteristic of who we are, and what we do so You know who you dealing with :)....

I'm afraid I don't really know anyone in the San Diego area. I know some people who are in San Fransisco, but that doesn't really help.

I didn't post here for a long time but to be honest I was trying to overcome all the problems with visa, comic con badges, plane tickets and stuff. But I can now say That Me (tergofsky / Elvis ) and my friend (Jakub Cwiek) are coming to SDCC 2012. Shiny that it will be the 10th aniversary and there will be possibilyty to meet the crew !!

Anyway, we start our journey in Warsaw on 2.07.2012 monday morning. We will be flying to New York, and from there... Hell we'll hitch hike and travel by any means of transportation that we will find to get to san diego within those 8 days. We're gonna have the biggest adventure so far, we will write on our blog about that trip, and on facebook, tweeter and so one. The goal is to have fun and have the time of our lives. We have prepared a special logo of the trip ().

So fellow browncoats somwhere on the road that I do not know yet. If You are there. If You want to meet us, maybe join to our little crew. You're all invited. And if you can give us shelter in Your havens. Do not hesitate to do so ;)

I would love to meet you guys, and I am very envious of you being able to go to ComicCon and meet Joss and the crew. You'd have to travel further south to pass close to me though, I'm in Waco, Texas. Have a great trip. I know all of us are looking forward to hearing about your adventures.
