Hmmm, sounds like some'n Artie Nielsen would say.

Sorry if this one's too long, but I just had to get it out of my system...

"Perhaps you should make peace with your maker."
"My maker was some geek in a lab coat with an eyedropper and a petri dish. What do I need to make peace with him for?"
"At these times we should all make peace with our maker."
"With all due respect, Chaplain, I don't think our maker wants to hear from me right now, because He knows I'm going to go out in that sky, in this plane, and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe. And when I return, I'm going to drink a bottle of scotch as if it was Chiggy Von Richtofen's blood, and celebrate his death."
"Amen."

Nicely done! Warehouse 13.

"The sea is my mother! She would never take me back to her mirky womb!" "My mother was an alewife! I was rather hoping to die in battle as a warrior should!"

Take my love. Take my land...

Space: Above and Beyond, said by T.C. McQueen and. . . the Chaplain whose name I can't recall.

"Sleeping in class? What do you have to say for yourself?"
"That it'd be easier without all that 'teaching' going on."

(hint: no, it's not Buffy. Or Daria.)

Is that from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (Mr. Hand and Spicoli)?

Nope. It's from a fairly obscure cartoon (based on a european comic series).

Hmm. "Code Lyoko"? It's French and it wasn't half bad when I saw it a few years ago. I don't really recall the line but it was set in a school so it fits.

Heh, nope, but I did discover them at around the same time.

When I go obscure, I go obscure.

Think Buffy meets Sailor Moon.
