Hmm. Is it Lethal Weapon (line said by. . . Mel Gibson's character [I always get Riggs & Murtagh mixed up])?

Right film, wrong character but you can count yourself correct as you named both characters.

I guess it's your turn to post a quote for us to figure out.

CHAR1
"This is just like high school."
CHAR2
"I have a feeling we'll be saying that for the rest of our lives."
CHAR3
"It only seems like high school. It's actually much worse."
CHAR2
"That's what we'll be saying for the rest of our lives."
I'll accept just the first two characters, since the third was a single-episode guest-star.
HINT: 90s animated series.

Well, that didn't take long. Guess I should've gone for the more obscure quotes. . .

Just finished the series, again
I pretty much WAS Daria in High School, heh.
I'm proud to say she learns to lighten up.
This'n is animated too.
Man says "He's always grumpy in the morning when he stays up late."
Kid says "He must stay up late all the time!"
(wording is approximate, been a while)

It's the QUOTE game, not the PARAPHRASE game.

" I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend. "

It should be close enough ta ring a bell if you've seen the movie, which you've had enough time to do so, it came out in the sixties.
Hmmm, sixties and it's animated and it has a kid... Do I have to do all the work for you, old man??

Bah !
I have an idea, but I'm not gonna play, out of grumpiness.
