Speculating

I was having trouble writing this morning. Whenever I have trouble getting started I write about Castle or something I picture Nathan doing. As I have said before he inspires me. So, this morning I spent a few paragraphs thinking about what might be coming this season from Jan. to May of 2012; speculating.
I see Castle deciding that this holiday season was going to be the last with Alexis and grossly overdoing everything. At this point, he has to keep a lower profile at home because Martha and Alexis want to seriously hurt him.
Another thought was since things with Beckett are stuck for now, Castle takes it upon himself to help Esposito with his love life. Maybe by asking Lainie for some more in depth forensics lessons in an attempt to get the 4-1-1 on what the real problems are.
Iron Gates is on a mission. She is doing an investigation of her own on what happened to Captain Montgomery, more importantly, why it happened? Is it business or personal? That could be used for quite a while. We already know Castle is still looking into Beckett's mother's murder. Will Castle and Iron Gates stumble over each other's paths in the future?
Beckett--it's difficult for me to picture what is going on with her. She's working. Not dating. Still in therapy. We should get snippets of her journey. I'll bet Kate's father overdid Christmas a little bit too this year.

I don't think I've seen or heard anyone else speculating about this, but for a long time I've suspected that Kate's father had some part in her mother's death.

I've been thinking about Beckett today... The reason we can't picture what's going on with her is because they don't give us anything interesting on her.
They follow Castle home and we know every little thing about his life, but we never get to see WHO Beckett IS... I really think that is why I can't get into their romance, because I can't even visualize what kind of person she is. What does she do when she lets her hair down?? You can't expect me to believe she DOESN'T. I get her mom was killed and she was shot, but geeez- lighten up. Let's see her doing SOMETHING other than work. Get a goldfish, take yoga, be a fangirl of a show

Someone else had the same thought. She was doing Yoga just the other night. Now she's limber too? I give up.

That would explain his emotional distance from his daughter. We have only seen those two in the same room a couple of times during the entire show. There is ALOT we don't know about going on there.

Castle went to talk to Beckett about something. She was dripping and drinking water. Castle looked at her funny, she looked at him and said "yoga". I can't remember what episode though.
