I know there has been allot of traffic regarding Jayne's 'cunning' stocking hat (must...resist...typing...tuque......), but I am wondering about the one he wore in War Stories. When Jayne, Zoe and Book are planetside; "Weren't after the goods.....fast burn rocket shuttle" exchange.

Anyone got any suggestions one where to pick one up at a reasonable price?

OMG! That's a pretty standard Aussie-style bushman's hat! You can buy them by the bucketload here.

I have to have another look at the ep (if my DVDs ever get returned) to know for sure though.

...looks like it's made of felt - like an Akubra - rather than leather. Check out:

Obviously the band is different but that's more like it to my mind. There is a visible sweat ring around the headband, which I'm not sure you aould see if it was leather.

These type of hats are common in out bush here - stockmen love them. :)
