This is part of a series that could become a dollmaker dress-up game by “Moara,” who writes:

“I've seen tutorials for how to make a flash dress-up game, and it doesn't seem too complicated. But I don't have any flash software, so if anyone's interested, I'd be thrilled to do a collaboration.”

“This is a new style for me. I've done smaller more intricately shaded dolls. This one is bigger, and I find if I cell shade, with no more than 5 colours per item, it goes much quicker than I'm used to.”

“I've now finished 6 gowns, and 2 robes. Out of 34. But only 20 of those are ones I would consider essential to do. So that means I'm more than 1/3 done.”

Neat. I'd ask where the base doll is and all the tabs on the dresses so people can actually play dress up, but that would require more than just speculating on undergarments. And if Inara were a real person, well, Mal would shoot us. And Jayne. In no specific order.

Except in his pathetic lonely dreams, Mal will never see Inara in her undies unless someone with Flash software collaborates with “Moara” on the dress-up game.

“Haven't done one of these in a while. My thesis has been kicking my ass.
This is one of Inara's outfits from the series Firefly. This is one of her shuttle outfits, for private meetings, not for out in public.
I think the costume designer was influenced by Turkish vests, which meet under the bust like that. There's a similar outfit in Serenity.”
