i am watching reruns of angel on TNT. i am certainly not well versed in the angel universe, so if i make a mistake, please forgive me! i am posting this message because i was watching today's rerun which is the one where angel's son comes back from the other dimension. i just wanted to comment on the girl who overdoses on drugs. i feel kind of safe saying this here, but when i realized she was dead, i felt really terrible. in the few scenes leading up to her death, you start to see that she is rather innocent and caught up in a life that she never expected. she takes pleasure in such simple things (like her chocolate cupcakes). i felt so sad when i saw her dead. i do not know really how to explain it, but i grew kind of fond of her in those few scenes. anyway, just needed to share.

Unexpected deaths in the Whedonverse I guess you just get used to them (not that you're not completely in shock when you find out whos next on the old chopping block).

A New World is the best Connor episode by far for the simple fact that he's actually in character... That girl would have made a nice recurring character too.
