I'm wondering if you can't just put up a curtain rod and take the shower door out completely?
I've never liked those glass door slide-y things. They block air flow, and always look like crap, even after you scrub them.
I hada similar prob, a while back. I had one of those nice heavy old mirrors I took down so I could paint behind it on the floor with a painting and a glass coffee table top...The next day I hada really heavy trip to the dump
The good news is I found a new mirror at the GW that is much prettier the next week, so....

Anyways...Keep on keepin' on, Mold Soldier

I like that :)

I've been watching re-runs of Weird Science and I feel like a bad-ass Chett when you say that :)

I totally could do what yoy you said, but this is supposed to be a chick magnet when it's done....

No benefit to me to Scrooge out last minute

HOw do I explain the most perfect snowblower known to man, yet have a tiddlywinks relationship?

Chicks like pickin' shower curtains... they get to put their opinion in even when you're taking a...break, hah. I lust after one at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for the 2nd bath...Can't bring myself to buy a curtain for it yet, but it will be a special trip to town when I do

I posted only rarely, but still look in now and then to catch up on fanfic and to see if the Real World remains an interesting place.

I'm really thinking that when I have a job and some decent cash flow again that I'm just going to take the old thing out completely and put an oversized tub with jets down there. There's no way I could make the bathroom upstairs big enough to do that, but there is some room I could sacrifice in the basement to expand the bathroom and get a kick ass tub in there.

If the future Mrs 6 wants to pick out shower curtians, she can do it in the "master bathroom".

Hey Lucciola,

Nice to meet ya. I don't think you were posting regularly back when I was before.

Hey wishimay,

One more money saving tip for ya for the holidays!

I was looking for some battery operated LED motion sensor lights for closets and the ones Costco had before they no longer carry. I found some on Amazon.com that were 15 bucks each before but now reduced to 6.57 a piece.

I was going to order 4 of them 26.28 and get free shipping, but Amazon had an offer for an Amazon card that would give you 40 bucks if you were approved. I signed up, ordered my 4 lights, and I now have a positive balance of 13.72 on the card for future purchases!

Free shipping too... of course

If you have any early Christmas shopping to do and you know something you're looking for is on Amazon that's over 25 bucks for free shipping, you can't beat it. If you're afraid of credit cards, just cancel it after you use the balance and pay it off :)

Most of the closet spaces here already have lights and switches, but those aren't a bad idea for the one I have that doesn't, may hafta.

As for ordering online, I am somewhat of a dinosaur in that respects, I have only ordered maybe 3 things online, and only when it was a massive savings to do so. I believe in trying to keep it local, and actually getting out and going for a walk once in a while...and I leave my internets at home when I do it, hah.

Ha, 6IXSTRINGJACK -- I loved the vigorous nature of some of the Real World discussions, but was far too timid to jump in. You guys were pretty determined. Nice to meet you.

You wanna tell us a little about yourself now? We promise not to determinedly jump down your throat here, hah. Although if you stand still in this thread long enough, you might just get painted or caulked on, sorry
