While I think the new message: "We're Still Flying
Serenity-Too Pretty To Die" is much better than that of the previous cake; I think "We're Still Flying" is a bit of a downer, and Bendis (to whom Mal says "too pretty for God to let us die") does in fact die.

How about a simple "Thanks to the BDH."?

Too late to change the message on the cake itself, but the card will, indeed, say Congratulations to our Big Damned Heros.

Topozio's always takes pictures for us, but it usually take him a day or two to send them.
I'll post them in the blue sun room as soon as they arrive.

Here's a description of the cake from Topozio's Bakery:

The cake will be a yellow butter cake laced with Frangelico liqueur with one layer having freshly roasted hazelnut pieces in a hazelnut Italian buttercream. The other layer will have a rich chocolate mousse. Yummm.

Delivery is tomorrow between 2 & 3.

What's the point of all these cakes? They know we love them - couldn't the money be spent better?

Such as buying a DVD set at give it to Roger Ebert and other reviewers, so they are in a good mood when the movie rolls around?

I've spent a lot of time and energy spending money in a better way... check out www.angelsfooddrive.com.

I do however, think it's an EXCELLENT idea to send a copy of the Firefly DVDs to reviewers prior to Serenity's release.

I'll start working on that. Thanks for the suggestion. If you want to add some ideas, check out www.mutantboosters.com. We need to gear up in the support Serenity department.
